CANARIO BELGIAN NEW CORNER

The canary (Serinus canaria), or canary of the kingdom, or, popularly, canary is a small songbird, a member of famíliaFringillidae. This bird is native of the Azores, Madeira and the Canary Islands. Its name comes from the latter, and the name of the islands comes from the word in canaria Latin meaning "dogs" since the Romans found there many wild dogs. The canary-of-realm name was given as opposed to the canary-of-the-earth, for the canaries were taken by pirates and browsers as gifts to European kings.
It is a bird with a total length of 12.5 centimeters and with a wing 71 mm in length. The yellowish their plumage is generally lower with the light colored belly.
Females have a similar color, but more gray and less bright.
Mating takes place between March and June depending on weather conditions and the position is four to five eggs that have a period of 15 days incubation. The nest placed generally to between 4 and 6 meters from the ground between the branches of laurel, pine and gorse large arboreal, is made from vegetable fibers, herbs and cistus sheets. The color canaries, by the classification of OBJO (Brazilian Order of Ornithology Judges), have today almost 450 colors.
According to the Trial Manual of Canaries FOB the Porte (Brazilian Ornithological Federation) / OBJO are five size groups, totaling forty-three races.
