CANARY Tipio
The tipio is a passerine bird in the Emberizidae family. Also known as canary-of-garden and canary-pirrita (Ceará), loser-mage (Pernambuco), gaturão and canary-of-fever (PB), tanager and canary floor (RN).

It measures 12.5cm long. The male differs from the canary-of-ground-true (flaveola Sicalis) by miss you yellow in pileus, but has a distinct yellow drawing in loro and around the eye: throat and belly, too, are yellow living, contrasting with a malar streak and gray chest and heavily striated cloak anegrado. The female is similar to the male, but with less yellow.
It has fine and melodious voice, sings fluent and well varied stanzas, ranging from acute to severe sometimes with trills that recall the canary-of-kingdom (Serinus canaria), although much weaker. Sings preferably while flying, gliding gently to the ground with outstretched wings obliquely upward and open tail.
reproduction
It nests in groups. Each litter is generally between 3 and 4 eggs having 3 to 4 litters per season. The chicks hatch after 13 days.
